My name is Guy Levakov, a pottery maker and an Industrial designer, living in Jaffe, Israel.
I have experienced with ceramics for many years and my main expertise is in digital crafts & ceramics 3d printing.
My work revolves mainly around research of the different ceramic materials, combined with technological research.
Understanding the ceramic materials and their combinations with mechanical technologies, are both great passions of mine, in which I find vast interest - the world of ceramics is rich with fascinating history of different cultures, and the technological side, which for me represents the future, change and development.
I believe that 3d printers are an expression of progress, so I got the idea to build a 3d ceramics printer of my own, which will combine the old with the new - the printer is one of the tools of the new ceramics maker.
